I am a State licensed in Michigan and Hawai'i, as well as an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, with extensive experience with both adults and children in a multitude of settings. My educational and professional experience has primarily been in; outpatient, schools, acute and sub-acute care settings. I feel that my personality and skill set make me a versatile therapist, with the ability to crossover the different care settings with ease.

Diversity is one of the alluring benefits of being a Speech-Language Pathologist, the ability to switch to a different mindset to encompass the diagnosis and treatment of a vast variety of disorders within the scope of practice. I pride myself in the ability to be approachable and relatable to both pediatric and geriatric patients. I honestly couldn't say that I have a preference towards either population, as I enjoy the therapy goals and activities with each.

I am always seeking to gain more experience and knowledge within our discipline, which is what has driven me to explore the different settings available in the field of practice. Collaboration among team members is a valuable resource in providing optimal care to students and patients, which is why I have found it to be of great importance to maintain open communication with all team members in the appropriate setting

The drive to obtain further knowledge and experience, along with my versatility among settings, has provided the opportunity to become a valuable resource among colleagues and patient family members. My goal is to continue to expand my skill set and strengthen my clinical skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
